Packed for the drop, not for the shelf
Nestora Mansion is a small online tableware counter in Jaipur selling dinner sets in stoneware, porcelain, melamine and steel. Every listing carries the piece count, the material and the heat behaviour of each part — and every carton is packed on the assumption that it will be dropped at least once.
Nestora Mansion is a sole proprietorship based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, operating online as Nestora Mansion at nestoramansion.shop. We are online-only — there is no showroom and no walk-in counter; the address on our invoices is the registered office and packing room.
Sixteen pieces, three survivors
An early order of a sixteen-piece stoneware set arrived with three plates intact. The set had been packed the way it sits in a cupboard — stacked flat, one thin sheet between pieces — which is exactly the wrong way to survive a courier network.
Plates now travel on edge, individually wrapped, in a double-walled carton with corner blocks. It costs more per parcel and it has turned breakage from a routine complaint into an occasional one. Where it still happens, the unboxing video settles it in a single message.
Piece count, checked
Counted into the carton before it is sealed. A short count is a replacement, not a negotiation about what a set means.
Heat behaviour per material
Dishwasher and microwave suitability stated by material and, where it differs, by piece. A metallic rim changes the answer.
Breakage is our cost
Transit breakage is covered on an unboxing video within 48 hours. No courier report, no returning the pieces.
What we will not claim
We will not call melamine microwave-safe, we will not describe stoneware as chip-proof, and we will not photograph a set styled with pieces it does not include. Crockery is unwrapped in front of guests often enough that an overstated listing gets found out quickly.
